Earlier this month I had the opportunity to attend Tucson Comic Con, and what an adventure it was. The desert is something else!
On Saturday morning at the Con, I did a panel about my work as a voice actor. It was a small but mighty group, and they asked lots of questions- which is always something I’m grateful for!
I was really excited to see my sweet friend, Denise– and meet her little sweetheart Zephyr, who got an autograph from me and his first comic book from AJ Moore of Gud Fit– The Super Newts!
One of my favorite moments was meeting CJ- he is the youngest Psychonauts fan I’ve ever met, and definitely the cutest. He really made my day. Pretty deep game for a kid! It’s cool to think about him playing it when he gets older- it’ll have all new meaning to him 🙂
Signing autographs is still kind of a trip to me, but I love meeting people who play the games and tell me that my characters moved them in some way. I always get a few people who say, “No offense, but I hated you in The Walking Dead…” to me, that means I did alright!!
I’m also really thankful for AJ Moore, who shared his table with me and is always an amazing support. His talents are many and his heart is huge. Check out his stuff! If you see him at a con, take the time to appreciate a true artist- and start collecting!
I had a fantastic time in Tucson- the staff of the con were super nice and attentive, and really cared about the guests who were so excited to be there. Special thanks to Mike, Dan and Jenny- Sarah Lynn too! – I felt so welcomed and hope to come back next year! I want to thank everyone who came to meet me at Tucson- and all the Cons I’ve attended this year- it means the world to me. I’ve had so many special and memorable moments, and it has made my job even more rewarding.
I can’t wait for my Con Adventures in 2015; I hope to meet more and more of you ♥
Have a wonderful Holiday season and a great start to 2015!
